Peter's Comments:

Having a bigger blade area, this is definitely for someone who is either used to a good workout or wants to put down a lot of power to either move quickly or to move a heavy boat.

I think this paddle is a great balance between lightweight and price, yes can get lighter and lower priced paddle but weight to price ratio is excellent value in my book.

On top of that, if you are used to a heavier aluminum paddle, this will transform your paddling experience for the better.
