I like to look after my paddles because if you're on the water and something happens to your paddle; it'll either be a nuisance to spoil your day or potentially serious.

I found the journey to and from the water was where I was seeing most of the scuffing and scratches to my paddles, so I started using paddle bags/sleeves like this. It also helps cut down on the noise of the paddles rattling away inside the car too!
